Beechams Breathe Clear Hot Honey & Lemon Menthol Flavour powder for oral solution. (paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride). Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with the ingredients of Beechams max strength all in one. Just because a side effect is stated here doesn't mean that all people using this medicines will experience that or any side effect. Adverse events from historical clinical trial data are both infrequent and from small patient exposure.

Treatment with activated charcoal should be considered if the overdose has been taken within 1 hour. Plasma paracetamol concentration should be measured at 4 hours or later after ingestion (earlier concentrations are unreliable). Treatment with N-acetylcysteine may be used up to 24 hours after ingestion of paracetamol, however, the maximum protective effect is obtained up to 8 hours post-ingestion. The effectiveness of the antidote declines sharply after this time. If required the patient should be given intravenous N-acetylcysteine, in line with the established dosage schedule. If vomiting is not a problem, oral methionine may be a suitable alternative for remote areas, outside hospital. Management of patients who present with serious hepatic dysfunction beyond 24h from ingestion should be discussed with the NPIS or a liver unit. Warnings and precautions: Patients should be advised not to take other paracetamol-containing or any other cold, flu or decongestant products concurrently. Care is advised in the administration of paracetamol to patients with severe renal or severe hepatic impairment. Medical advice should be sought before taking this product in patients with: glutathione depletion due to metabolic deficiencies or occlusive vascular disease. Use in caution in patients taking digoxin, cardiac glycosides and ergot alkaloids. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine. Contains 3.8g sucrose per dose. Caution in patients with diabetes. Contains source of phenylalanine. May be harmful for people with phenylketonuria. Contains 135mg sodium per dose. Medical advice should be sought if symptoms worsen, persist for more than 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, skin rash or persistent headache.Paracetamol is a painkiller that can relieve a headache and mild to moderate aches and pains associated with colds and flu. It's fine to take Beechams all in one with plain ibuprofen or aspirin (assuming these are appropriate for you). However, don't take it with co-codamol, co-dydramol or Tramacet because these contain paracetamol.
