About this deal

The crayfish, type of crustacean, only pops up on The Moon Tarot card. Like all crustaceans, they are associated with emotions, rivers, females, and The Moon and, therefore, is a standard feature on moon-related art. DOG I like the Magician card: it has a tabby cat in a graceful jump connecting the upper and lower worlds. There are also all the “magic” items: everything that he plays with and eats from. And of course the traditional infinity symbol. The wolf and the dog on the Moon Tarot cards are supposed to symbolize both human restraint and animal instincts. The dog is tamed, but the wolf is the wild, natural, intuitive thoughts and feelings we all have, which are buried deep beneath the surface.

But there are some things you might want to think about, depending on how you learn and what would work best for you as a beginner tarot reader. Finally, there is a horse on the Death card. In contrast to the other horses, this one does not have a positive meaning; it is meant to represent one of the four horses of the apocalypse and is symbolic of death and destruction. LION The ram head appears on the throne of The Emperor, symbolizing the fact that this card is associated with the sign of Aries. SNAKE Tarot and cats are a great combo! These animals have always been associated with magic and sorcery. Since ancient times, cats have been considered sacred animals. They have intuition and healing energy. Award-winning artist Lisa Sterle brings traditional signs into the modern day with bright artwork that honors the variety, enthusiasm, and vitality of the new form of magic taking place around the globe.note: there are lions on The World and The Wheel of Fortune, but these represent a tetramorph, which has a different meaning.) LIZARD In divination and fortune-telling, rabbits are also linked with sexuality and fertility. One interpretation for the Queen of Pentacles, is that she represents motherhood and the female aspects of the physical world, hence the rabbit. Delightful Temperance card: a red cat tests his patience before temptation (a fish in an aquarium). The symbols of water and radiance around this ginger"angel" are beautifully used here. Even though tarot cards can’t tell you what will happen in the future, they can help you make better decisions and think about them in a different way. Tarot cards can help you understand and deal with the changes in your life. They can help you learn more about yourself, change, and grow as a person. Can Tarot Cards Predict the Future?

Communication with cats is like meditation. They can cure the disease and soothe our feelings. Like Tarot cards, cats are guides between the real world and the astral world. They help us to understand ourselves and harmonize our lives. And they're so cute! The Sacred Web Tarot imagines a world without separation, where everyone and everything is a silken thread in the great weaving of the Cosmos. By the time we make our way to the Ten of Pentacles, the white dog, again, makes an appearance (this time, there are two instead of one). However, in this instance, the dog is controlled, tame, and has had its hair trimmed. The owners of these dogs can afford to take their pets to the groomers. The white dog has now become a symbol of the Ten of Pentacles’ meaning. And let me tell you, if you're learning symbolism, there is no better place to invest your time than in animals. Animals are the most common groups of symbols you'll see in every method of divination, whether that's Tarot cards, dreams, tea leaves, everything! At the beginning of the 20th century, Arthur E. Waite, a poet and mystic, and Pamela Colman Smith, an artist, worked with the Rider company to make a new tarot system. This made the practice even more popular. The symbol of the lion on the Strength card is pretty obvious as lions symbolize mastery, honor, and strength. Sometimes lions also signal important people. Also, the fact that the woman on the card is taming the lion and opening its mouth is a sign of control and the ability to conquer animal instincts, a common theme in Tarot. Dogs are read differently depending on where you come from. For example, because I am a Romany Gypsy, I read dogs to symbolize work. However, in the West, dogs are read to represent friends, followers, and confidants.

People have used tarot cards for fortune-telling for hundreds of years. They read the cards like a storybook to get advice on improving themselves and making decisions. I would especially like to note the style of the drawings of Cat Tarot. These are beautiful watercolor illustrations by artist Megan Lynn Kott. She works as a professional designer and illustrator and has been drawing watercolour portraits of cats and other pets for many years. She is madly in love with cats, and at home she has three mischievous pets.Of all the animals on Tarot cards, horses make the most frequent appearance. In divination, horses have very rich and detailed symbolic associations; the Tarot is no exception. The dog and the wolf on these cards are there to remind the seeker to use both intuition and common sense when making decisions. There is no clear-cut way with the Moon, no this and that. All choices must be made on their own merit and dealt with individually at that particular time. There cannot be too much listening to the spirit or too much following to the mind. Both must work in harmony if the seeker wishes to achieve the best outcome. In Lenormand divination, fish can represent money, business, and commerce. They also symbolize emotions and feelings, and this is especially true when fish appear in Tarot. I am in two minds about the symbolism behind the Queen of Pentacles. It is possible that the furry creature could represent a rabbit, but it is also possible that it is a hare.

Many diviners mistake the creature on the King of Wands for being a generic lizard. However, it is actually a salamander - salamanders represent the element of fire. So, this one on the King of Wands is a node to the fact that Wands are associated with the element of fire in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot tradition. Salamanders are associated with fire because it used to be believed that they can firewalk. RABBIT The cards won’t tell you something like you’ll meet your future partner on some specific date, instead, they can tell you a lot about your past, present, and future based on where you are in your life at the time of the reading. But, in the Tarot, dog symbolism is completely different. The dogs are used to reflect growth, animal instinct, and even financial status. Therefore, because of the Minotaur myth, bulls symbolize earthly pleasures. In Tarot, the King of Pentacles is the ultimate earth, grounded Court hence why there is a bull on this card. CAT Although the animal on the Queen of Pentacles is probably a rabbit, there is a chance that it is a hare, which I will explain more about under ‘tortoise.’ RAMThe minor arcana cards are divided into classic suits, but here they use their own, feline symbols. The suit of Wands is entirely dedicated to cat toys - ribbons, fish, balls. The suit of Cups is water and drinking bowls. Swords – sharp claws and teeth of pets. And the Pentacles are food in all its forms. On the throne of The King of Pentacles, there are bull symbols that probably represent the sign of Taurus. These reflect the fact that this King is determined, indulgent, and a lover of all things beautiful, just like your typical Taurian. For many centuries, cats have lived with people, but at the same time, they retain their independence. They give us joy and warmth but remain mysterious and magical. They see and feel things that people don't notice.
