I am very concerned over the usage of these DVD rewinders. I had a pet mouse that started growing another head. This made me very concerned. The "skinny dipping" scene where the boys are running naked down the pier and then jump into the water is missing (0:07) These cuts were in the source provided to Anchor Bay and the cut-status were overlooked) (84:16 NTSC)

The US version: the film was planned to be released theatrically by Orion but it was never the case. However, in the process, Orion created a ~95min edit, which also appeared on laserdisc/VHS in Japan and on VHS in Holland and Australia (note that the eventual US tape release came in the form of an uncut, unrated version and an R-rated edit from the longer version rather than the Orion cut). Severely edited the gore scene of Kenny's death. Over half of the close-up shots of Kenny's mutilated face (with the snake sliding out of his mouth) have been cut. In uncut version, you can see the watersnake when it first comes out of Kenny's mouth, but on the DVD, the scene cuts to when the snake has already made its way out of Kenny's mouth (0:06) When Mel discovers Meg's body (as it falls out of the shower stall), the DVD shortens the first glimpse of her body (0:01) The UK release from Icon for the uncut version & exclusive extras.
