In comparison, the Night Breaker Laser with its pure Xenon gas filling produces 130% more light than the average halogen bulb. That’s an extra 20% more light when compared to the Night Breaker Unlimited. As well as this, the length of the beam produced can be up to 40m longer than the equivalent halogen filled bulb. That is an increase of 5m compared to the Night Breaker Unlimited. Philips RacingVision GT200 bulbs are a popular choice among drivers looking for the best and brightest bulbs. They’re 200% brighter than standard bulbs, so you’ll get more than double the brightness when you switch to Philips RacingVision GT200 bulbs. These bulbs also have an ideal colour temperature, meaning they give off a slightly whiter light. This makes it easier to see clearly since whiter light mimics daylight more closely. The tests were the same for both types, despite the different light sources: filament for the halogen and an arc between electrodes for HID. Bulbs are placed in a headlamp - a reflector type from a Fiat 500X for halogen bulbs, projector from an Audi A3 for HID - allowed to burn in to settle output, then an image is taken of the beam pattern on the wall. However, the Night Breaker Laser is currently only available in H7 and H4 fitments, for the moment. If your car has another bulb fitting the Night Breaker Unlimited is still a great choice compared to standard halogen bulbs. Especially as the nights get darker and we enter winter in the next few months.
