During operation, the cleaning fluid is permanently clarified by a filter system and dirt particles are filtered out to minimise impurities in the fluid and thus achieve the best possible cleaning result. With a larger designed label sealing cup and hand crank, the Knosti Antistat Generation II PLUS is able to easily clean LPs, singles and 10” records. A drying stand with drip tray holding up to 15 records is included, and can be stored in the main unit when not in use for compact storage. I made a big batch and have it in a plastic 2 gallon container. After a cleaning session I strain the used solution and put it in a separate container for reuse as it gets noticeably dirty. The whole process takes less than 2 minutes to clean both sides of a record at once, and this is an advantage over my Consonance machine that only does a side at a time. Arguably does a better job due to the vacuum process.

I see you use a vacuum method to get the fluid off, but for those can't afford such a machine the Knosti is great. And let me add now, the final rating I will apply is for the machine itself, not the liquid. I see the liquid as a bonus extra only. And you should see it that way too. CONCLUSION As much as this adds a touch of style to the product, manufacturers do this so you can see how much dirt the washer has removed from the record. Pretty smart move! The manufacturer even says that 40 years of experience in the care and cleaning of records is combined with highly developed, state-of-the-art cleaning technology and that a top-class solution can now be presented. My turntable also drowned in the floods but a good mate has fixed it. I will get it next week and add a play test to this report. The old Linn Sondek with its solid plinth is a tough bird It has come to our attention that the Knosti cleaning solution leaves residue on the record and, therefore, requires rinsing the vinyl before letting it dry. This, of course, can be time-consuming, especially if you have a lot of records to clean.
