About this deal

And I’ll be forever disappointed in any airport display that doesn’t include at least one koala ominously clutching the landing gear of a plane that’s about to take off. What I have on display here is mainly my Modulars, Creator Expert cars, larger Technic sets from about 2010 to 2018, and some Ideas sets as well as MOCs. And more recently lots of train sets and accessory buildings from that German competitor that must not be named. ;-)

LEGO Minifigures Series 24 has a release of 1 January 2023, and looks to be another fantastic series for longtime fans, or those new to collecting minifigures! Just finished opening my full set. This is an extraordinary group of figs. I'm disappointed that I didn't get a full box rather than just the 12. They're that good. None-the-less, an exceptional series this time round! I'm seriously considering getting a full box were as I normally just buy a complete set and sometimes one or two duplicates of my favorites." Originally, when there were only two colors, white was American, and red was Russian. As they added new colors, it shifted to represent roles, but I know of two contradictory lists: Inevitably, the Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby have dominated discussion around this whole series of Collectable Minifigures. The astronaut from Classic Space was available in five colours between 1978 and 1984 and several more have been introduced recently. Reddish brown is an unusual colour for an astronaut, but something distinctive is welcome.

Ref - feel for cards, differs from spaceman because of airtank - 2 yellows on fig is a bit wierd, 3 yellows because of bad color in legs is too much. Still, love this fig. Big calcio fan. Her sexy-angry look reminds me of Mrs. StyleCounselor. NOTE: The LEGO® Group provided this set for free. However, the provision of products does not guarantee a favorable review. I will provide my honest opinion about these characters. A note on distribution… Additionally, I think the bright red hair is ill-suited to a mediaeval minifigure, as this shade seems dyed rather than natural. Maybe dark orange could have returned instead, having last appeared in 2014. The dark tan bow and accompanying falcon are also exclusive. This bird includes very little decoration, although the mould alone captures ample detail and I love the yellow beak. Those are pretty good, I would add Bride of Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula and a Nosferatu (guy and gal)."

I also suspect that the Rococo Aristocrat's dog is probably meant to represent a different "toy" breed than Chihuahuas, despite sharing the same mold. Perhaps it's a Papillon, a breed that was popular with European nobility for centuries, has a similar narrow muzzle and large ears to the chihuahua. Papillons' ears are usually a darker color than the rest of their coat, but solid white ones DO exist. And while the silky around the sides of their face is often grown out to give it the butterfly-like silhouette the breed is named for, this is not always the case. High quality – For more than 6 decades, LEGO® building pieces have been made to ensure they are consistent, compatible and work every time

Omg a brand new Classic Space Astronaut colour – Brown! I’m guessing they’re in charge of Space Sanitation. And he has a Baby! But she has zero idea what Classic Space is or that it was my favorite LEGO theme when I was a kid, since I never told her. Also my childhood LEGO is stored at my parents' in the attic mostly, so she also can't draw any hints from my old collection there. This minifigure certainly appeals to older LEGO fans and perfectly matches other Classic Space astronauts, featuring their famous golden logo and a traditional smiling face. However, I wonder whether children, for whom Collectable Minifigures are primarily intended, may be disappointed with this relatively plain character. And for your further enjoyment, here are more high resolution photos of each Series 24 minifigure! FootballReferee RobotWarrior BrownAstronaut andSpacebaby Like sporting characters, robots appear frequently among Collectable Minifigures and the Robot Warrior looks marvellous. The minifigure takes obvious influence from anime, consisting almost exclusively of geometric shapes. I love the yellow eyes peering through the helmet and the sand green colour is attractive, matching the chest armour.

And the newsboy is a standout example of another sort of figure that's great to see in the collectible minifigures — the sort of familiar archetype that's never had a theme or subtheme built around them (and isn't even one you'd expect to see in most themes/subthemes), but that builders can then build new models and tell new stories around.

However, this warrior's imposing appearance is undeniable and the jaw element looks fantastic, recreating the aforementioned prominent teeth. The tattered red cape is striking too, but there is a noticeable colour difference between the dark red printing on the Orc's legs and the hip piece. Those are pretty much boilerplate responses, at this point. It doesn’t matter what the basic theme is, every CMF series has been called both. Even S1 was, by default, since anyone who claimed S2 was the best when it released was implying that S1 was the worst of the pair.
