My tried and tested milk chocolate fudge recipe has always worked brilliantly with a variety of fillings and toppings (see my Maltesers Chocolate Fudge and Marshmallow Chocolate Fudge), so I was pretty confident that milk chocolate mini egg fudge would work. I have to say, it really is every bit as delicious as the white chocolate version! Break or chop the milk chocolate into pieces and place them all in a large microwavable bowl. Pour over the condensed milk and mix together well. Whilst I like to leave my mini eggs whole, I have had a few suggestions to chop the mini eggs before adding them to the fudge - this is a great idea and a good safer alternative if you are serving this fudge to any younger children. For this recipe, I used Cadbury dairy milk chocolate with Cadbury mini eggs, mostly because I like the flavour, but you can use any brand of milk chocolate to make this fudge. A good quality cooking chocolate works very well, as it usually contains less sugar than standard chocolate so can bring the sweetness of this fudge down a notch.
