Beautiful gatefold, the yellow of the records are bright and awesome and there's a huge booklet of shots from the visual album.

When the cutting head plows through the lacquer, it can push some lacquer up over the edge of the groove, like if you ran your finger through the dirt. The singular intent of 'Renaissance', a reinvention of four on the floor, is to showcase music that stirs you from the soul and encourages your dancing feet. It's up there with James Brown's Live at the Apollo, Sam Cooke's Live at the Harlem Square Club, Donny Hathaway's Live. My first copy was almost perfect, but it had a repeated noise by the end of the final disc (unlucky, I know). On the face of it the records themselves look pretty shabby with a few scuff marks, but surprisingly they sound absolutely fantastic!After repairing the seam splits to the cover and inner sleeves to the point where you can't see the damages I was finally able to listen to the album and enjoy it. Sound quality is good, though I did notice some very light sibilance on the innermost track of each side, and the discs weren’t warped despite the super thick booklet thrown inside the gatefold. Packed with rousing anthems that resonate with everybody, RENAISSANCE is a culmination of freedom and escape that encourages unimaginable jubilation, agency, and movement with abandon.
