There is a single watch that unites the watch world, and it hardly needs an introduction: the Casio F91W. However, it does replace the infamously poor backlight with an LED alternative that is far brighter and much more usable. If there was a stealthy blacked-out color, or a bright pink, or even an army-inspired olive colorway, I think that it would be welcomed with open arms. Possibly due to the type of luminescence, you'll notice the background is slightly grainier and not quite as flat, but for the most part, the time is just as readable at a glance, which is all that really matters. This design also ensures a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist, with a buckle-type closure for easy adjustment and use. Resin bands, however, are known to become brittle after a couple years, so perhaps they could have shipped with a more durable material option.The brighter color scheme isn't so subtle or versatile, and as such, I doubt the W-86 will obtain the retro fashion acclaim that the F-91 has garnered over recent years. The font and numbers have been slightly redesigned compared to the F91W, offering a more modern and easy-to-read appearance.
