My wife has an enviable collection of early DM 12” records and I have to say although I agree with the general opinions here, it becomes very apparent that it’s quite flat / restrained master from digital. Clean” wraps up Violatoron an eerie note, all ominous bass notes and odd atmospherics carrying the song. This will Totally satisfy Any DP fan that doesn’t wanna fork out a few hundred for an original pressing. The artwork for the exterior of each of the box sets draws on iconography inspired by the original releases, while the vinyl sleeves themselves feature the original single artwork. Some reviewers are claiming the vocals are loud and clear but the instruments are “behind” in the mix. My system is pretty revealing so I'm sure if I used one of my less sensitive styli it would sound flawless.
