UltraPro had just 1 Sleeve Product what i think is good (Eclipse Sleeves + KMC, but more for Casualplay). It is worth noting that, while no sleeves actually split, these would definitely qualify as ‘marked’ in tournament play. Both sets of Cortex sleeves marked quite easily in this one, among the easiest to mark of any outer sleeve we tested. Dragonshild Sleeves had a little bit more space on Top (its a Problem for me, because Sleeves tear/kink by my shuffeling-Style (And yes, i try to sleeve upside down). We consider a fit bad when the card slips out of the inner sleeve while being pushed into the outer sleeve. Also worth noting that I dislike matte fronts of sleeves, as I feel like the cloudy look just takes away from the foil look of a card, but I do prefer that matte back as they shuffle much better. I would strongly suggest using sideloading perfect fit sleeves when using Katana sleeves as your outer sleeve. We score this a brilliant 8/10, missing only a couple of marks for sleeves that do not even show the silhouette of the card inside. With this new Cortex range, Ultimate Guard have managed to improve upon their Supreme sleeves without breaking the bank, and they should certainly be a consideration on your outer sleeve shortlist. This is cause for concern due to “marked cards” (being able to identify the card in your deck just by looking at the back of the sleeve for inconsistencies).

A diverse community of players devoted to Magic: the Gathering, a trading card game ("TCG") produced by Wizards of the Coast and originally designed by Richard Garfield.Easy shuffling – they feel like the original Dragon Shield sleeves (smooth back) but with no sizing inconsistencies and fewer issues with dirt and dust buildup on the backs of the sleeves.

This is not just one or two cards, more than half of my deck has corner bends after 4-5 months of regular use, and I never had that experience with Dragon Shields. The backs of the sleeves start to hold dust and dirt , many times due to the dirt from your hands and the playing surface that you use. Difficult to double sleeve – double sleeving seems to be a challenge with top-down perfect fit sleeves. Durability – some of the best durability I have seen in a sleeve since Dragon Shield: Matte sleeves . This makes them ideal for tournament play when you might be running DFCs or MDFCs and need every card to look identical.the Professor/tolarian community college YouTube channel has a very good demonstrations of showing this issue. Depending on the color you choose, you can give your deck a classic look or add some extra flair with more unique designs. The slight friction of a shinier and smoother sleeve lends to this ‘buttery smooth’ feel and that was prevalent with both varieties of the Cortex sleeve. Worry not my fellow runners of the nets, there are indeed sleeves that are fully opaque and I will present some of those to you.
