Topps UK Star Wars: The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2 is an affordable way to dive into trading cards for the Disney+ show. This line was unique in that it provided artists ranging from Jack Davis to Moebius to design a card representing their vision of the Star Wars universe. It seems that every time the saga is released to a new platform, the movie has undergone more, often incomprehensible edits. In terms of the expected hits, 2021 Topps Star Wars The Mandalorian Season 2 guarantees one autograph or sketch card per Hobby box. Finding these cards in good condition is more difficult than trying to figure out what all that jazz about midichlorians in The Phantom Menace was all about.

To celebrate Topps’ ongoing partnership with Star Wars, we wanted to present this look at a selection of cards from Topps and other license holders that stand out, either due to their coolness factor, value, or both. The collection is dedicated to the first two seasons of the series, dividing the number of basic cards equally, 78 per season. Star Wars Fan Fun Day is an event for Star Wars fans by Star Wars fans started in 2008, the first event was held at the Clayton Conference centre with one guest and over 400 attendees. Apart from the basic version, the most common is the yellow one and followed by the green, blue, purple, orange, turquoise, red up to the very rare gold. There is simply no other way for us to wrap up this tour of Topps card collecting than by taking a look at the most infamous of all Star Wars collectibles.
Firstly, a box of this size which is 24 packs in a single box is fantastic, you get a wide range of quality cards and fantastic value in terms of a collection. These include Aliens and Creatures (10 cards), Comic Covers (six cards), Concept Art (18 cards) and Tools of the Bounty Hunter (10 cards).

When it came time for Topps to release their Jedi Legacy series (which chronicled all of the films to date) in 2013, the company really went all out by including special case cards that let collectors truly own a piece of George Lucas saga. These cards are shown on the box and they look insanely nice, however, I managed to pull one in this box, I pulled the Ahsoka Tano card and in-person… it looks absolutely beautiful. We’ve done a few reviews on trading cards on the site, I absolutely love collecting and reviewing them so I think it’s time I jump into the world of Star Wars trading cards and this is the first review for it.
The lineup includes Characters, for the notable subjects in the show, Comic Covers, which is inspired by comic book stylings, and Concept Art, showcasing artwork from the end credits. Not only does this set come with base set cards, but they come with different kinds of cards with some fantastic images on them. They are of international origin, so the title in front of the photo is in English, behind the caption in four languages, Italian, French, Spanish and luckily Italian.
Topps Gears Up for The Mandalorian
While some of the key story elements have already been captured in the print-on-demand Topps Now set, the checklist is bigger here. The base set takes collectors on a trading card summary of the first eight episodes spread out over 100 cards.When Topps’ Star Wars Galaxy cards were released in the early 1990s, the franchise was mostly dormant with the exception of the burgeoning Expanded Universe series of novels. That’s down from the original 100 the original individual releases had but it covers the major moments. There are also 20 more cards in the Extended Base Set, which features different images for select characters in the main lineup.
