About this deal

The swiftling sped around his shoulders, using his daggers like spikes while rolling away from Kaz-Mowang’s trident and outstretched claws. This is done by the skill pointing out the best things he did about certain action and allowing him to repeat those actions. It was an ugly sculpting of a man with a chin too curved, eyes too bulging, and a nose that looked like a pumpkin’s stem. The first few chapters are engaging, and we can't wait to get into the actual world-building, and fleshing out the mythology of this world.

Hey, why the hell would you think we’d work for you if you’d throw away your own subordinate to keep yourself alive? The one with magic, the one with divine power, the one with strength, and the chosen who has a little of each of those powers. Even more so if a weak enemy is kept alive until the end of a wave and one allows the Weaverlings to hit it repeatedly. It merely conducts: the power is all mine, and I can release it as I please, which is unfortunate for your friend here. Remembering details about people made them more friendly to your cause; it was just one of the tricks he’d picked up in the last four years of hustling together every coin he could. Anyway, I think I'll wait for an in depth review before grabbing the second book, slated for January 2023, I think. Stone beneath his feet melted, bubbling like lava, his trident wilted like a flower hit by the first frost, metal dripping like candle wax. He's maximized his physical strength, developed a dance/martial-art to near peak, and seems on track to match the Sage in magic.

The main descriptions are typed out and are accompanied by Ellina's "quotes" - which are written out in a handwriting style font. It concerned me a little when Alex yet again found a way to power-up that thousands of years of mages had failed to find.

I also like that it's clearly (read as: maybe) a different universe, but there is some bleed-through and references to the real world. The baker made a choking noise before stomping across the disaster zone, jabbing his key into his strong box, ripping it open and whipping two dull coins into Alex’s chest. I also found Alex kind of hypocritical because he refused to even talk to a couple of characters because he deemed them unethical, even though he is literally hiding from his duties as the Fool because he doesn’t like the mark he got. He turned to say silent prayers of thanks to Heroes’ Fountain—one of the many that had been raised in the kingdom of Thameland. This is a series that knows how to progress a series without bogging down with various unnecessary things.

Mark of the Fool 4: A Progression Fantasy Epic Kindle Edition

As a late game area, the Knight is expected to have almost maximum equipment, especially the Pure Nail, as well as all Nail Arts and upgraded Spells. They're all just super good at everything and everything just sort of works out despite minor danger. With how he had to split his time between the bakery and helping out at the Lu family inn, it probably would have been at least thirty. So far it's a decent series though the male MC is being portrayed (yet again) as a blundering incompetent fool, and the female he likes is strong, intelligent, and confident (never wrong about anything).Combined with a quite dull, incremental progress, nothing resembling character tension, and "challenges" that never in any way challenge our protagonist after the first dungeon and I can't see any reason to continue.
