The footage looks good in a way I have never seen from Sony A7's because the signal noise ratio of those cameras is incredibly bad and covered up with horrible noise reduction. It can even stream up to 4K/60p over a Wired Lan connection, while Wi-Fi streaming maxes out at FHD/60p. What’s more, the S5 II isn’t limited to 16:9 video aspect ratio (or wider) like most cameras, but can record from the full sensor area, which in the S5 II is 3:2 aspect ratio. It’s a bright display that can be seen in direct sunlight and dimmed so as not to be too distracting in low-light scenarios. It’s possible that performance could be improved by recording to a faster memory card like CFexpress, but the S5 II only accepts twin SD cards with UHS-II support.
