Like Takopi killing Marina, how twisted Shizuka became near the end of the story and how sympathetic Marina became, and even the namesake itselfTakopi's Original Sinbeing a refrence to Takopi's original sin being trying to killing Shizuka for Marina. In September of the same year, the Shonen Jump+ app launched the Taizan5 Manga Award, a contest judged by the titular artist.

Warning, this manga IS DARK, it features things such as child neglect, trauma, and bullying — both physical and psychological. Plus it didn't make much sense that the people would then have, like, residual memories of Takopi or something--which is honestly what the entire ending hinges on. Also older Shizuka and Marinaactuallybecoming friends was really wholesome and was just the bittersweet ending the series needed to tie it all together.

Anyway the art really propels this manga with how much it suits the story and I wouldn't have the art any other way.The story starts with the titular Takopi (actual name nuu-anu-kf) meeting Shizuka who proceeds to name it due to resembling an octopus ( tako in Japanese) and frequently saying “pi”. But that doesn’t take it down from being a great manga in my mind, and I’ll keep watch of anything the author releases from this point. The ultimate moral of the story is that "talking brings happiness," though I'm not sure why the author felt the need to include an ultimate moralof any kind. Takopi is a great lens to view the series because as he's naive and doesn't know much about the world, seeing him change and develop to become less naive and more emotionally smart was great.

I can’t say much for obvious reasons, but I’ll say that when you think the manga has found its rhythm and settled for pay to progress its storyline, you’ll find that it will then go in a different direction, and this isn’t a complaint as it’ll be keeping you on your toes. And when they showed why she does the things she does (of course this doesn't excuse her actions) I was not willing to sympathize with or forgive her. It has an amazing premise that could catch the eye of anyone looking anyone browsing, great plot twists, and a very concise story. The sentiment of how lonely all these characters are and how even though Takopi can't do much to twist the forces outside their control, he can make it so that they're not so lonely anymore.I also really like the more simplistic style for Takopi which makes him stand out from the human characters. Takopi’s Original Sin (Takopii no Genzai) is Tanzai 5‘s first serialized work, with them having previously worked on 3 One-Shots, one of them self-published, and the other two by Shounen Jump+. With all the bullying and neglect she endures day by day, will the naive but well-intentioned Takopi manage to make her happy? Overall, Takopi's Original Sin is an absolutely brillaint manga with an amazing story, great art that suits the series extremely well, and multi-dimensional characters who you can empathize and feel for. Another bullying and abusing manga that reveals the true nature of humans when they get pushed to the edge , the story at some point didn't make any sense but after few chapters we got it and honestly I've no clue why the author tried to complicate it like that , well his plot twist didn't impact me that much for like I said we didn't get what's going on however this manga gives me mixed feelings like I hated all characters and I felt bad for em at same time , I guess the story not recommended to everyone it's a bit dark so give it a chance when you feel you ready for it .
