This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy. Aminoacridine hydrochloride is a mild antiseptic that kills a variety of bacteria that might infect sore or broken skin in the mouth. Medijel soft pastilles contain two active ingredients, lidocaine hydrochloride and aminoacridine hydrochloride.The side effects listed above may not include all of the side effects reported by the medicine's manufacturer. Please note that parcels weighing over 2kg may be sent via courier due to Royal Mail weight restrictions. Dentinox teething gel is a local anaesthetic and antiseptic gel that you rub on your child's gums to give temporary relief from teething pain and is only available to buy over the counter from pharmacies. This is so that a pharmacist can give you advice about what would be best for your baby. You may also seek advice from the local Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). PALS are not part of the complaints procedure itself but they might be able to resolve your concerns informally or they can tell you more about the complaints procedure and independent complaints advocacy services: Pain is caused by the stimulation of pain receptors at the ends of nerves. The stimulation causes sodium to enter the nerve ending, which causes an electrical signal to build up in the nerve. When this electrical signal is big enough, it passes along the nerve to the brain, where the signal is interpreted as pain.
