About this deal
Variety doesn’t stop at just the beans, though, it also offers you automatic options to make everything from espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites, iced cappuccinos (!), iced lattes, americanos, doppios, and more. There is a hot water setting too, so you can nix your need for a kettle too—saving you counter space— and there’s even a tea setting. What is a tea setting? It’s just warmer water that you can drink right away, but it is made at the right temperature (with three different settings, of course) to infuse your favorite herbal blend. One thing to note, it doesn’t have a chai, hot chocolate, or matcha settings, but come on people, this is for serious coffee drinkers.
Now that we have a good idea of what we’re dealing with, let’s continue this DeLonghi Eletta review by taking a closer look at the machine’s many features. User Interface It becomes a question of how much you want a fully automatic coffee machine, and what steps you want it to handle. I don't mind steaming my own milk, but you might not. It’s reassuring to know that even the parts prone to wear and tear are up to the task. But of course, it’s not just the minor components of the Eletta Explore that are built to last. What could be better than DeLonghi’sLatteCrema automatic milk system? What about having 2 LatteCrema systems?

The milk containers do spoil the look a little bit, but they’ll be in the fridge when you aren’t using them so not a problem really. They recommend using semi-skimmed milk for the hot milk and skimmed for the cold. Ignoring the fact that skimmed milk isn’t milk, it’s just white water (controversial opinion). Who on earth is having 2 kinds of milk just for hot or cold drinks? Plant-based milk lovers can skip this annoyance as they don’t tell you to have 2 different types of plant-based milk.
I have to say that, thanks to its advanced brewing technology and customization options, DeLonghi Eletta Explore is perfect for people who love to experiment with different coffee blends and brewing methods. It earns its name for sure! While the grinder has 13 settings, we recommend you start around the 5th finest. We generally end up going finer than this, but you don’t need to go to the finest possible setting to get a decent coffee from your Eletta Explore. Speaking of customizing drinks, the last thing you want is for your carefully crafted espresso macchiato settings to vanish when someone else uses the machine. That’s where the Eletta Explore’s four user profiles come in handy. You’re able to save your espresso drinks in your own profile, safe in the knowledge that they’ll be waiting for you the next morning. By including its own silicone ice cube mould and giving you guidance on how many cubes to add to your glass, the Eletta makes it easy to whip up a refreshingly cold cappuccino or latte whenever you want one. Yes! The DeLonghi Eletta Explore has a built-in stainless-steel conical burr grinder, allowing you to grind fresh beans. What are the different coffee drinks that can be made with the DeLonghi Eletta Explore? It has a very high-quality ceramic flat burr grinder which helps deliver super espresso. The detachable milk carafe is very convenient, though fairly standard these days, and the milk foam is of excellent quality. As I already mentioned, the DeLonghi Eletta Explore features a huge 3.5 inch (8.9 centimeter) color touchscreen display. Either side of the display you’ll see soft touch buttons with pretty pictures. But, for true coffee aficionados, having plenty of options to tinker with is always a welcome addition. Great job DeLonghi espresso machine team! Choose from a wide range of iced coffee options to enjoy perfectly chilled coffee with or without milk. Just add the appropriate number of ice cubes as indicated on the Eletta Explore’s screen (it’s impressively accurate) to get the right level of dilution. 4. Interactive Touchscreen
