The milk containers do spoil the look a little bit, but they’ll be in the fridge when you aren’t using them so not a problem really. They recommend using semi-skimmed milk for the hot milk and skimmed for the cold. Ignoring the fact that skimmed milk isn’t milk, it’s just white water (controversial opinion). Who on earth is having 2 kinds of milk just for hot or cold drinks? Plant-based milk lovers can skip this annoyance as they don’t tell you to have 2 different types of plant-based milk.
I have to say that, thanks to its advanced brewing technology and customization options, DeLonghi Eletta Explore is perfect for people who love to experiment with different coffee blends and brewing methods. It earns its name for sure! While the grinder has 13 settings, we recommend you start around the 5th finest. We generally end up going finer than this, but you don’t need to go to the finest possible setting to get a decent coffee from your Eletta Explore. Speaking of customizing drinks, the last thing you want is for your carefully crafted espresso macchiato settings to vanish when someone else uses the machine. That’s where the Eletta Explore’s four user profiles come in handy. You’re able to save your espresso drinks in your own profile, safe in the knowledge that they’ll be waiting for you the next morning.
