About this deal

The book also explains the real origins of Circe, Hades's direct interference in the Odd Sister's fate, and the events after the sisters were imprisoned in the world between. Entertainment: Animazment: The Musical • Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic • Disney's Wishes • Fantasmic! I have never read the Disney villain series from Serena Valentino, but Hades is my favorite Disney villain, so I was excited for this. I loved reading his backstory and how his story overlapped with other Disney stories, for example, The Little Mermaid, and other well-known characters such as Gothel and Maleficent. I get that the mythology version and the Disney version of him are very different but that didn’t work for me.Intrigued, Hades befriends the mysterious Odd Sisters and makes a deal that will change fate's course. Hades has always been one of my favorite villains and it was nice to see some human qualities to him. Although he definitely would've preferred Zeus' position had he had the choice, With Hades ultimately becoming the outcast of the family, he becomes what he is made out to be: a villain.

As Hades tells his own story, we find out more about the Book of Fairy Tales, the way all stories are connected and how this dark lord tries to right his mistakes. Fire and Fate takes place in Mistress of All Evil story, and Hades is directly responsible for everything that happened during the events that led to the killing of Circe to the Odd Sister's decision to bring her sister back as their daughter. Hades's fate has been foretold for ages and his battle against Hercules is as legendary as it was tragic. These are all standalones but there is a lot of details from the previous books in this series, which I haven’t read yet, so that could be confusing at times.

The synopsis states, “And the part of the story no one tells is that when your family treats you like a villain, it is far too easy to become one. Long ago, Hades and his two brothers, Zeus and Poseidon, waged a war against their father and his titans and won. Years of being ignored and shamed by his family reach a fiery head, when three perfectly alive witches find their way into the land of the dead. Fire and Fate, in my opinion, is the best entry in the series so far, leaving a taste of "wanting some more" that will be hard to quench. The tenth book in the New York Times bestselling Villains series takes a dive into the Underworld, exploring how Hades turned from god to villain.Algo muy interesante es que nuestro protagonista es el primero en cambiar su destino, eso es algo que amé.

I was expecting a new revelation about why he was banished to the underworld (per the Disney version), but it’s the same story from the movie “Hercules. Bored and lonely, Hades befriends these mysterious Odd Sisters and makes a bargain that will change the course of fate. I really enjoy reading the Disney Villains series, especially to see how all these characters’ stories entwine to create one bigger story.I highly recommend experiencing this series through the audiobooks, as the narrators all do a wonderful job bringing these stories to life. Leider muss man vorher die anderen Bücher in der richtigen Reihenfolge gelesen haben um den Inhalt folgen zu können und ist daher nicht eigenständig zu lesen. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. While Hades tries to make the best of a lonely situation, eternity proves a long time to be forced live in a rolea domainhe never wanted. I'm a huge Hercules fan and Hades is one of my favourite Disney characters so this really did hit the spot for me.
