All 3 axis are responsive and the throttle is smooth, and not as peculiarly placed as I first thought. Try plugging into a different usb port and see if there is any change (or have we done that already).

Mein oller 20 jähriger Extreme 3D Pro Joystick hatte schon einige Macken und es war Zeit für eine Erneuerung. Buena estabilidad, buen agarre, firmeza adecuada en sus movimientos y se siente bastante resistente. Would I recommend it to someone who is looking to replicate the exact feel of flying an airliner, probably not, but it is definitely perfect for those who are interested in bringing their sim just a tad bit more to life. Now, for a fraction of the cost I am flying and fighting out there with the best ( well mayby not the best but for sure with the upper mediocre) and am gaving a great and fun time. Though it took me a long time to figure it out, and it was frustrating running through the paces, but it can be done.I’m glad this was not my first because if it was it may have deterred me from playing any flight sim. The only issue with this Joystick is the fact it doesn't have an adjustable tension spring and the one it does have is to firm, meaning a strain on the wrist and reduced Aileron control.
