If I had to put a value to it I would say this is at least 95% identical to BDC, close enough that this could be used as a solid dupe. Sure, you may not like the fact that it rides so close to Chanel in terms of overall composition, but stops just shy of being a clone by doing something different with the style Chanel can't offer, and that thing is refinement. BdC's heavy incense note is absent here, making Missoni EdP a lot smoother while still retaining a masculine feel. This is not some cheap clone -- but it also isn't Chanel, so if you're hoping it's a replacement for BDC. WD-40 actually smells pretty good and I’ve always wondered why no one’s made a fragrance to resemble it.
yes it does remind you of BDC but trust me it is different, it’s more sharper and fruity and a bit cloying if oversprayed, 3 or 4 sprays is enough, good longevity and projection, strong enough for winter and fresh enough for summer, it’s nothing to brag about but it’s good enough for any collection. Very safe and fresh fragrance, I have only compared it to Bleu De Chanel EDP and to me they are very different. I don't know what the profit margin is on Missoni Wave, but for the money, it's better to go with Versace Pour Homme.
