About this deal

The campaign was inspired by Creature Comforts, Nick Park’s 1989 short film that took unscripted recordings of everyday people and put them into the mouths of animals. They are moved in tiny increments, usually 12 times for every second of film, giving the companyʼs films a distinctive hand-made feel. The film, a half-hour special that premiered on Christmas Day 2001, was produced by Chris Moll, producer of the Wallace and Gromit short film The Wrong Trousers. A new, untitled Wallace and Gromit film was also confirmed to be 'in the works', and is currently slated for a 2024 release on the BBC in the UK and Netflix worldwide.

I have always found the Creature Comforts hilarious, and was not disappointed to see the old favourites once again - "the tortoise", "the panda's" and "the penguins" were especially enjoyable to watch after many years off the screen. Similarly, Robbie the Reindeer in Hooves of Fire, a BBC Bristol/Comic Relief production, was directed by Richard Goleszowski, creator of Rex the Runt. Intended to be based on Aesop's fable and directed by Richard Goleszowski, [16] it was paused two years later because of script problems. These five shorts worked in the same area as the Animated Conversations pieces, but were more sophisticated.

With so many short films, the quality is better for more recent short films although some of the Heat Electric ones do suffer slightly. Again, for some of the older footage, including those Heat Electric ads, the sound is very muffled at the start of each one so turn those up a bit. The studio had another film in development, Crood Awakening (eventually The Croods), which had been announced in 2005, with John Cleese co-writing the screenplay. only downside was that the color was so saturated a couple of the scenes were difficult to watch becasue they were so bright it was hard to see what was on the screen. Sit back and enjoy all the fun of the ultimate animated collection from the creators of Morph, Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run.The sheet stamps are self-adhesive and free-form, each design being die-cut with one or two extruding elements. Some of the content was a little disturbing, for instance the violent and sometimes morbid images that were a considerable part of particular sketches would not be well recieved by more "sensitive" 12 year olds, the skip button on the remote comes in quite handy for the less "understandable" creations!
