About this deal

This high-quality tweezer is made from premium stainless steel, ensuring its durability and longevity. When you remove spring bars with a pen-shaped spring bar tool, you have nothing to compress the spring bar with, which means you have to pull it out instead via the strap or bracelet.

To use it, simply start by putting one of the tips in a good position at the end of the spring bar and then do the same with the other tip. New 7825 spring bar tweezers have very fine forked tips to reach narrow openings as small as 1mm and built very similar to the Rolex ® 3200 tool normally only supplied to authorized dealers. You can post in Sales Corner if your post count is 250 or more and you have been registered as a member for 180 days or more. And if you can get a spring bar tool that doesn’t scratch your watch, we think it is certainly worth it. The tips themselves are the perfect size for Rolex/Tudor and have a geometry very similar to the 7825. My usual go-to is my Bergeon 6262, which has served me faithfully for years but clearly isn't up to the task.

You need to apply some downward force to compress the bar so it's possible there could be some marking on the bottoms of the lugs. Bergeon 7825 is a tweezers, special watchmaker tool for inserting and removing spring bars in difficult to access end links and the short spring bars in the inner link. We welcome all manufacturers including Casio G-Shock, OMEGA, Rolex, Breitling, Rolex and Tudor, Seiko, Grand Seiko and others. I found it easier to squeeze the springbar and slide the end link in from the tips of the lugs rather than the bottoms.

When it comes to tools for working on your watch, tools are the last thing you want to compromise on. But this assumption could not be more incorrect, and this is something that a lot of people discover when they try a high-quality, premium spring bar tool, from previously having used a cheap and basic alternative. Most watches use spring bars to keep the bracelet or strap in place and to remove the spring bars, you need a good tool. The Bergeon 7825 Spring Bar Tweezer features a unique design that allows for easy and secure handling of spring bars, making strap and bracelet changes a breeze. Most spring bar tools are ” pen-shaped”, with which you remove one side of the spring bar at a time.

I’m on the 1861, it’s not on a bracelet currently as it’s on a NATO, but assumed (wrongly) that the 7825 would have been easier to fit my new bracelet on. As you might have guessed, the end with the springbar tips is used to remove the bracelet, and by flipping over the tool the plastic projections can be used to easily compress the springbar when re-attaching the bracelet.
