About this deal

Although officially designed for the Genius range of brush handles, our own testing confirms although not an absolutely perfect fit, other Pro and Smart handles fit comfortably and charge within the case (Not Pro/SmartSeries 6000/6500). I have a multi-travel adaptor bought at an airport that accepts my UK bathroom plug without problem. But I also have 2 different ones that will not accept it, but they will accept the Euro-plug.(these are the large adaptors that can be used for multiple countries by extending different pin configurations out of the body

Now you can keep your Philips Sonicare toothbrush charged without having to worry about losing the charger or running out of batteries. Irrespective of brand if you left it on charge for 24 hours, it would be fully charged by the end of it.Once the connection is made, your toothbrush should start charging automatically. A full charge typically takes about 24 hours.

First, make sure that the outlet you’re using is compatible with the voltage requirements of the charger. Second, don’t attempt to use the charger with any other type of device; doing so could damage both the charger and the device. Finally, always unplug the charger when not in use, as leaving it plugged in can pose a fire hazard.keep in mind that you should only use the charger that came with your specific model of toothbrush. It’s worth noting that not all adapters are created equal. Be sure to buy one that is specifically designed for use with the Philips Sonicare line of toothbrushes. Using a generic adapter could damage your brush or void your warranty. Not everyone wants the bother of an app-enhanced dental routine, so if you’d rather spend a little less but still get a great toothbrush, then the iO Series 3 could be for you. It delivers the same magnetic drive technology as the other brushes in Oral-B’s flagship iO-Series range, but comes without the advanced sensors and Bluetooth connectivity to monitor your brushing and send the data to your smartphone. In practice, that means a quieter brush with a more comfortable vibration, and one that still leaves your incisors feeling polished and your molars super-clean, as well as doing a fantastic job of clearing plaque from between your teeth. The toothbrush uses sonic technology, although it pulses at a lower frequency than the more expensive models above (40,000 pulses per minute). However, my teeth were still left feeling squeaky clean, and I especially liked how the brush has a central silicone bristle to help with removing surface stains.

In the UK the mains electricity that you connect your appliances and gadgets into works on 240 volts. This is a high voltage and can cause serious injury and death if you were to touch a live electrical line. The best electric toothbrushes are clinically proven to do a better job than the manual brushes of old and should be part of everyone’s everyday dental routine. After all, we would all like squeaky clean teeth and a whiter smile – and absolutely no-one enjoys fillings or root canal surgery. Another consideration if you travel abroad is the power adaptor. I explain how this works in the buyer’s guide section. I really hope all of the above is helpful to you and has answered any questions you may have had about 2 pin plugs and adapters required for electric toothbrushes and similar products like shavers.Do seriously consider the more environmentally considerate options such as bamboo brushes which will leave less impact on the environment when disposed of. Your comments and opinions Right now, aside from switching to a completely different brand of brush that can charge from the USB port in your van (Sonicare DiamondClean/DiamondClean Smart) you have no other option.

Strictly speaking, from an Oral-B perspective, there is no option for this at this time. So you cannot charge your current electric toothbrush from a USB port within your van. Most charging stands have a cable wired into them that leads to a plug that connects to the power outlet in the bathroom. It is normally a 2 power adapter, like any other appliance in the home. It’s basic, with just one setting, but you do get a timer, with the brush pulsing every 30 seconds and switching itself off after two minutes. We also like the unusual pink, blue and yellow colour choices. A good tip to ensure long term reliability and performance from your brush is to discharge the brush completely every 6 months and then recharge it fully. Such activity helps ensure a long battery life. It is also worth noting that if you need to use the brush and it has not finished charging this is fine. Use the brush and replace it on the charging stand. This is the same handle as is supplied with the Pro 2 2000N, Pro 2 2000S, Pro 2 2000W, Pro 2 2500N, Pro 2 2500W and Pro 3 3000.The handle has a Orchid Purple panel on the front that contains icons that illuminate to show which cleaning mode is in use. Under most circumstances if you include water and electricity the effects of injury are much greater as water reduces the resistance the human body has to the electrical current.
