Alongside the Classic Animation kits, the LEGO Disney 100th anniversary theme will also be seeing another collection of sets. Adding another six creations into the mix, the Disney Princess lineup will fittingly feature a series of iconic characters spanning everything from Snow White up to more recently-released favorites of Anna and Elsa. Prices will be covering the usual bases of delivering smaller kits and more display-worthy models alike. Where the newer one is a big upgrade over the original is in the minifigure department. Eight minifigures, 4 iconic Princesses and their male counterparts are a much more exciting inclusion, making this feel like a proper celebration of Disney through the ages. Personally, I like this colour scheme a bit better as I love the nougat, blue and sand blue combination and generous gold accents. Both minifigures are fantastic, with really high quality printing across Rapunzel’s dress, including arm printing.The set comes with Prince Charming, Cinderella, Prince Naveen, Tiana, Flynn Rider, Rapunzel, Prince Dorian and Snow White, most of whom (with the exception of Tiana) are making their debut as LEGO minifigures, which makes this a must-have if you aim to collect every single Disney minifigure. Aside from just how well-crafted the build is, the minifigures are just a straight-up delight. Sure, the set isn’t perfect, but it’s as close as I could have expected from an official set. Honestly, the biggest problem might be just how large the build is and how difficult it is to find space in my collection for it. However, I’ve said that many times before about other massive kits. Yet I seemingly always find a way to accommodate LEGO’s latest behemoths, and the new castle surely won’t be any different.

Snow White is wonderful as a minifigure, and has been a long-time coming, especially after only made an appearance as a minidoll. Prince Florian is charming enough, and has simple printing that matches his 1937 movie appearance. We’ll likely have more to report on part count and pricing in the coming months, as it still is January. But considering that 9to5Toys has been able to confirm the set numbers so far, we’re expecting that our sources will have more to share as we head into spring. 9to5Toys’ Take After getting it all pieced together, there’s so much I want to talk about at both ends of the scale. On one hand, the kit is just so massive and demands a dedicated space to display it unlike almost any other build out there. The whole thing stands 31.5 inches tall while measuring 23 inches wide and 13 inches deep on the base. This isn’t going to fit into just any LEGO or Disney collection, but the display space this will take up is certainly worth it.
