The EufyHome app is great. It offers an impressive amount of control for a vacuum that doesn’t have room-by-room app support, including speaker volume control, suction level customization, and scheduled cleaning options. However, the physical body of the Verge feels too fragile for my personal preferences. The RoboVac G30 has four suction options to choose from: Standard, Turbo, Max, and BoostIQ. By default it’s set to BoostIQ, which automatically adjusts the suction power based on your floors and the level of debris detected. With BoostIQ enabled, it will increase the suction when it moves over carpets and heavily-soiled areas. Setup and Maintenance The Eufy Home app is pretty minimal, with the upside being that it’s a breeze to navigate. The top of the home screen displays the vacuum’s battery level along with cleaning area and cleaning time stats. Vacuum controls, a scheduling option, and detailed cleaning history are accessible from a tool menu on the bottom of the screen. But I wasn’t crazy about the fact you must open a separate pop-up window every time you want to view the map, especially since the valuable real estate in the center the home screen, where other robot vacuum apps typically locate the floor plan, was here occupied by a static graphic of a living room. Thanks to mapping, the robot resumes cleaning when it’s done charging in case it didn’t finish the job before the battery died. Eufy has added some significant navigation skills to the G30 Edge and they’re worth having. The G30 Edge isn’t as sophisticated at map building and learning about its environment as rival models like the Neato Botvac D7 Connected but the basic mapmaking displayed here is better than the trundle and bump navigation we’ve seen on Eufy’s cheaper models, such as the 15C.
The EufyHome app is intuitive and easy to use. In the app, you can start and pause cleaning jobs, select the cleaning mode and suction level, set a cleaning schedule, and view your cleaning history.All of them include a remote controller, have a big 600 ml dustbin, automatically increase suction on carpet, and are not suitable for medium-pile carpets. The eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid is the only robot vacuum in the family that is laser-guided which means it creates a map when cleaning and is the most efficient among all the robots in the line. It is also the only model that saves a created map and supports virtual no-go/no-mop zones and can be sent to clean a specific room or a few. It has the best climbing ability and is suitable for medium-pile carpets. Under the hood are 31 sensors, including infrared and a hall effect sensor, which enable the robot vacuum to move around your home avoiding any large furniture. The latter uses magnetic fields to identify position and distance. Unlike some robot vacuums on the market, such as the Ecovacs T8 Aivi, the Eufy RoboVac G30 Hybrid doesn’t have a built-in camera to help it see obstacles. The Eufy Home app is simple to use, making this robot vacuum cleaner extremely easy to control. Once you’ve launched the app and connected the robot vacuum to your home Wi-Fi network, you can set it cleaning and away it will go. There are a lot of things to love about the eufy RoboVac G30 Verge. For starters, the G30 is a bit smaller than your average robot vacuum. It isn’t a lot smaller—I didn’t notice it at all until I turned the vacuum on—but it’s just enough of a difference to help this vacuum clean under every piece of furniture in my home. It’s lighter, smaller, and thinner than robot vacuums from brands like iRobot, Dreame, or Lydsto.The G30 is only slightly cheaper than the G30 Edge so it seems a worthwhile upgrade to utilise the no-go zones feature, especially considering it comes with boundary strips included. Apart from this differentiation, the vacuums are mostly identical. The eufy RoboVac G20 is a vacuum only and does not have boundary strips. It has a bigger dustbin, suitable for low-pile carpets, and delivers 2,500 Pa which is more than the G10 Hybrid and G30 (+ modifications) do. Suitable for medium-pile carpets. If you need boundary strips more than mapping so the C30 Max is a great buy. Especially when it's as cheap as now. Run it every other day so it will go across those areas it missed last time. If you are going to use it once a week, I would suggest getting something with mapping. In this case, go with the "C" line: eufy 15C, 15C MAX, 25C, 30C, 30C MAX, 35C, “G” line: G10 Hybrid, G30 / G30 Edge, and the latest eufy RoboVac L70 Hybrid. These are app-enabled machines that can be controlled by your voice. The Eufy RoboVac G30 Verge is a round-shaped vacuum cleaner with a total dust capacity of 0.6 liters. It is not designed for wet mopping. The device can be remotely operated, including smartphone remote support, allowing users to control and schedule cleaning sessions from a distance.
The eufy G30 takes 1 hour and 10 minutes to clean my apartment. That’s a little longer than your standard robot vacuum; most models I’ve tested take about 50 minutes to clean the same space. It has a runtime of up to 110 minutes (or 1 hour and 50 minutes) on a single charge, which is pretty impressive!While more expensive robot vacuums use lasers and other technologies to map out the area to clean, the RoboVac G30 Edge is less precise. It still builds up a map but does it on the fly, every time it cleans. It does this by sensing its immediate surroundings using infrared and gently bumping into obstacles as it cleans. Yes, the eufy robots that have an electronic water tank which means, you can control water level output. Normally there are three modes, low, medium and high.
